Wood Supplies
If you are just starting out with pyrography you will want to do some practising. Below is a selection of
pre-cut wood pieces for just that purpose. The plywood ones are baltic birch which is wonderful to wood burn
on as it has almost no grain and is very light in color. I use it all the time. The baltic birch plywood
comes in 2 thicknesses, 1/8" and 1/4".
Once you feel you are ready to move onto a real project, there is a selection of basswood rounds, slabs and ovals
that are ideal for gift giving, etc..
Each of the practise packages below will come with a couple of free patterns for you to try out. One easy one and
one that is a bit more challenging. Have fun!
